The Surfer's homeworld of Zenn-La is no more. Now the former Herald of Galactus has returned to Earth in search of a place to call home. Thus his travels have brought him to the undersea Kingdom of Atlantis where he seeks council with his friend and former teammate, Prince Namor. But he is greeted with unsettling news of the Savage Sub-Mariner's demise. So it is no surprise that he is in a foul mood when attacked by the cybernetic hulk known as Bounty.
