Brownie Movie Camera II. Takes 8mm roll film; 13mm f/1.9 lens; hotshoe; folding viewfinder; with printed exposure card attached to side. Serial number 3011975. Donated by Alec Green, March 2000.

The Brownie 8mm Movie Camera Model 2 was distributed to the public in 1958 by Kodak in England. It was made for the average amateur and was easy to use and produced good quality images. The camera was equipped with a fixed focus Cine Ektanon F1.9 lens for ease of use.


Fills a space in a collection or on a shelf or just as a nice piece of Retro room styling. 

I have set up this site to sell my collection of vintage cine and early video cameras that were only collected as part of a display I had in one of my hire studios. They were only used for display and should be bought as such or for repair. They may work but I have never tried to use them so are sold as display not working.
