Here is a pair of mid century modernist lampshades, which are suitable for using as ceiling lights or they can be clipped onto a light bulb and used as table lamp shades. They are made from very stiff / strong waxed card which has been concertina folded  and the band of black half way down is fitted over the cream base. They have a linen like appearance. I think that they would work well in an oriental / chinoiserie themed interior. They are very stylish and look like early Habitat lamps. My feeling its that they are 60s and you can see from the metal fittings that they are clearly vintage. I have owned them for a couple of decades and they have been in storage. They are in excellent condition. They are 9.5 inches high x 5 inches diameter.
