Vintage 1979-83 Dundee United Away Shirt Youths Adidas Trefoil Player Issue No.9

An incredibly rare piece of Scottish football history, this 1979–1983 Dundee United away jersey by Adidas features all the hallmarks of an authentic likely player-issue/match-worn shirt for the youth or reserve team. Made in England from the legendary shiny "silk" fabric mix (72% nylon / 28% acetate), it stands out from standard commercial polyester replicas and comes complete with the iconic "DUFC" script on the chest and a club-printed vintage number 9 on the back. It is a true holy grail for any classic football shirt collector or vintage Adidas enthusiast.

Good vintage condition considering its 40+ year age, with a few minor flaws from genuine use and storage: there are a couple of faint, light yellowish marks on the lower fabric, a tiny orange speck on the back next to the number 9 , slight raw thread fluff at the bottom hem line, and some typical loose internal stitching threads inside the V-neck collar seam. The main "DUFC" print, the back number, and the fabric's original shiny texture have sone signs of wear as well.
