A vintage Bulova Accutron for collectors in the know, celebrated for its tuning fork technology and distinctive humming movement. This example is new old stock, with its case back dating to 1970.

The stainless steel cushion case neatly tucks the signed crown with Accutron tuning fork logo at 4 o’clock. The white grained dial is especially fun, with blue markers resembling battery cells, luminous plots, an applied Bulova Accutron signature with tuning fork logo, and a French day-date display at 3 o’clock.

Powered by the Bulova caliber 218 tuning fork movement, the watch remains fitted with its original Bulova black leather strap and Bulova-signed steel buckle. A great survivor from the space-age era of watchmaking and a particularly appealing Accutron configuration.
