True 1821 first edition full leather with gilt appointed spine. Complete with many full page engravings. Hinges, gutters, boards all in very decent condition. This may be a very early rebind but is possibly the original all around, or a combination where the old spine was rebacked with the original leather.

  The text block is very solid with no loose, missing or bent pages. There is foxing that effects the pages especially at the frontispiece. Not too bad thereafter. All full page engravings are present and in nice condition. Approx. 10 1/2 x 9 inches.
