Vintage Qajar Style Oval Tinned Copper Plaque, Chased with Courtly Gathering or Picnic Scene

This is an oval metal tray or hanging plaque, crafted from tinned copper. The interior surface is intricately decorated using a chasing (engraving) technique. The central focus is a cartouche or medallion with a polylobed border depicting a traditional courtly gathering, poetry reading, or outdoor picnic scene. It features multiple figures in traditional dress, including turbans and caps, seated together under a tree with an architectural structure visible in the background. Surrounding the central cartouche is a dense network of scrolling foliate and floral motifs interspersed with various animals and birds. The reverse side shows the hammered textured finish, a hanging loop added later, and a visible small circular maker's mark or signature stamp near the lower border. The overall aesthetics point heavily toward the Qajar period  (19th century) or a later revival of this classic artistic tradition.
