Bourne Arms Magee Marshall Ale Knott Road Fleetwood HH Nickson 1901 Photo

This is a silver gelatin photograph that is unmounted and is 9¾ x 7½ inches (245x190mm).

It shows a view along a road leading from Ferry Works on Knott Road towards the Bourne Arms public house in Fleetwood. A large sign on the building reads 'Bourne Arms' and 'Magee Marshall & Co's Ale.' To the left, a stone wall features a sign advertising 'Pure Ice Cream.' On the right, a wooden building displays the word 'Fleetwood' on its side. Three figures are visible standing by a wooden gate across the road in the distance. The photograph was taken on 21st June 1901 by HH Nickson of Fleetwood.
