Here is a Vintage 2.5" Tri-Sure Metal Gas Can Cap w/ Measuring Cup and Cork Gasket.

Good, vintage condition.  Some signs of storage.  Could use a rub down with some steel wool and a wipe with some WD-40.  As-found condition.  Cork gasket looks new.  A few minor scuffs and dings.  Some minor rust.  Has measuring cup built in to lid.  Maybe for measuring oil for fuel-oil mixes?  I feel like it has a olive drab tint.  Maybe military? Not sure.  Ready to use.  I measure the lid to be for a hole about 2-1/2".  Almost 5' long.
