These vintage wax capacitors have been carefully reconditioned using a controlled heat-treatment process to clean and stabilize the original wax body and leads, then re-waxed for preservation and appearance.

Each capacitor is individually tested for capacitance, leakage, and voltage integrity using professional vintage-era test equipment including the Sencore LC75 Z Meter, B&K Precision 878, Heathkit LCR Bridge, common Chinese LCR digital handheld.

Capacitance and Dissipation Factor (DF) measurements are performed at 1 kHz, a frequency better suited for evaluating many vintage paper/wax dielectric capacitors used in classic tube audio equipment.

These capacitors are intended for low voltage vintage electronics restoration, experimental audio applications, and collector use and not intended to be used for high voltage applications such as line or plate voltage to chassis filtering.
