Hello everyone! Welcome to Kim Loberg Studio, home of Original Artwork, Designs and Illustrations by Nebraska artist Kim Loberg. Much of my artwork (and imagination!) can be described by 3 W's - Wacky, Whimsical and (sometimes) Weird. My art ranges from realistic wildlife and fantasy animals to colorful, off-beat creatures that are my own original creations that have been collected worldwide. Thank you for stopping by! ~ Kim |
'I believe...that there is an animal spirit in every object I see. Half the fun of being an artist is using my imagination to set it free.' -Kim Loberg, Nebraska artist.
Title: ‘Psycho the Circus Clown Hamster!’ Years ago, my daughter had a hamster that was, well, psycho. You
couldn't hold her or pet her without her trying to bite you, hence her name
Psycho. She has become the subject of numerous paintings of mine. In this one,
Psycho has run away to join the circus. I'm glad she's happy now. Size: Artwork size: ACEO size 2.5" x 3.5" (Baseball card sized) Medium: Watercolor and Acrylic paints, Pigma ® Micron sepia ink on Canson 100lb. Bristol. Sealed with an acrylic fixative. Date: Apr 2010 - Sep 2013 Original
artwork is signed on front with full signature, date, title and other
info on back. COA (Certificate of Authenticity) is included.
PLEASE NOTE:
Printed copyright notice does not appear on actual artwork, only on gallery photo. A small © does appear on artwork’s front under my initials. It is part of my signature. Much of my artwork consists of my own original characters and the © protects my copyright interests.
The buyer is purchasing an actual artwork only, not the rights to the artwork’s image or its reproduction rights. I, the artist, reserve all rights to the copyrighted image.
Actual image is sharper and colors are brighter than they may appear on some monitors. Gallery photo may appear larger than actual 2.5" x 3.5" ACEO artwork! The last 2 photos show size of blank ACEOs in inches.
My artwork does look better in person!
What is an ACEO or SFA?
ACEO stands for Art Cards, Editions and Originals. Each card measures 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches. ACEO art cards can be collected or traded. They also make great gifts. Tuck one into a greeting card as an extra special something. ACEOs look great framed and matted in either a 5" x 7" or 8" x 10" frame.
SFA stands for Small Format Art. Each piece of artwork cannot exceed 14 x 14 inches in size.
Miniature Artwork is an affordable and fun way to collect art!
