Significance
iOS 17.0 is the last firmware that will ever run TrollStore. Apple patched CoreTrust in 17.0.1 and closed it for good. Dopamine 3.0 now covers 15.0 through 17.3.1, so this one version runs both at once: TrollStore's permanent, never-expiring installs and a full rootless jailbreak. Everything above 17.0 gets Dopamine alone.
17.0 was signed for a matter of weeks in September 2023. A 14 Pro Max cannot be restored or updated back onto it. The only ones that exist are the ones that were kept there, and one accidental update ends it permanently.

Dopamine 3.0 is semi-untethered. After a reboot, open the app and tap Jailbreak. It takes a few seconds. Because this device is on 17.0, Dopamine installs through TrollStore and stays permanently signed: nothing expires, nothing needs re-signing every 7 days, no computer required. That is what every firmware above 17.0 gives up.
