A striking original 1930s Art Deco collar necklace by Jakob Bengel, the celebrated German maker known for bold modernist jewellery of the Bauhaus era.

This elegant piece combines rich green glass ball beads with bright chrome detailing, ornate bead caps, sculptural sailor-knot style links, and a chrome bar-link chain. The design has wonderful rhythm and contrast, balancing polished machine-age geometry with decorative Art Deco detail.

The necklace fastens with a spring ring clasp and sits beautifully at the collar, making it a highly wearable and collectible example of Jakob Bengel’s distinctive 1930s work. It has a collar length of 16.5 inches and weighs 21.1g.

The necklace is in excellent vintage condition, as shown, and dates to the 1930s Art Deco period. It is supplied with a new gift box for safe postage and/or gifting purposes.
