This is a silver gelatin photograph that is unmounted and is 12 x 7½ inches (306x191mm).

It shows a view looking up High Street in Dunster. Vintage cars are parked along the left side of the road, and a few are driving. On the left, a sign for "Tea Shoppe" hangs from a building covered in climbing plants. On the right, signs read "Tregoning Gifts" and "Handcrafts Gifts Tregoning Lampshades". In the centre distance stands the octagonal Yarn Market building. A wooded hill rises in the background, topped by a stone tower. The caption at the bottom reads "High Street, Dunster 10817".

The reverse has a pink stamped grid for tracking print dates and quantities, with handwritten entries dating from "23.3.59" to "5.12.62". There are handwritten numbers "10817" and a red circled "NS". A brown stain is visible on the left side over the stamped grid.
