This is a vintage new never used U.S. Airforce issue vulcan windproof lighter . This lighter is in fantastic shape and was always stored in a climate controled environment.  This was my father's lighter . He was stationed in Bermuda from 1959 to 1963. He met and shook the hand of president Kennedy there in burmuda .  He was there during the Cuban missile crisis doing maintenance and service to recon aircraft  directly involved in the crisis . Great history there . He passed away two weeks ago at the age of 87 and the only reason we are selling this lighter is to help with the funeral cost and burial expenses . I would love to keep it , however I am not a monetarily rich man . He would want it to be sold to help cover the cost . Thank you for looking . You wont be disappointed .
