Antique, circa 1910, Nippon hand painted porcelain round dish with handle. Stamped on the bottom in green • Hand Painted, Nippon, "M" (Morimura Brothers) within a wreath in green.

The Morimura Bros. Co. in Japan was the major producer of "Nippon" and Noritake porcelain during this time period. Nippon is a westernized version of "Ni hon" meaning Japan. Pieces were required to have a mark from their country of origin for export after the McKinley Tariff Act of 1890.

Bowl measures approximately 7.5” in diameter excluding handle. This dish is in very nice vintage Preowned condition with no chips, cracks. SEE PHOTOS.
