PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Eaton ELSTR is a Wheelock Eluxa LED-platform standalone strobe appliance. Specifically, it is a wall-mount, red-housing strobe with FIRE lettering and 24 VDC operation. Notably, this SKU is strobe only — no horn, no speaker.

Notably, the ELSTR replaces legacy LSTR3, RSS-24MCW-FR parts in the Wheelock lineup. As a result, retrofit and replacement projects on older RSS or LSTR installs can use the ELSTR in place of those discontinued SKUs.

First, the strobe uses a patented LED optical design rather than legacy xenon. Then, the flash duration is 20 ms at 1 flash per second over the regulated voltage range. Therefore, the ELSTR meets the 2016 NFPA 72 requirement to share a field of view with legacy xenon strobes.
