Characteristics of duplex stainless steel
Duplex stainless steel consists of 23% chromium and 4% nickel and is molybdenum-free . The 2205 alloy offers comparable anti-corrosion properties to stainless steel 316L , while the mechanical properties, such as the yield strength, are up to twice as high as those of stainless steel 304 .
