up for sale very fantastic, rare  mughal rajput Maratha straight blade  khanda sword India sword south region.  

The blade has old  old Damascus steel blade, it's called sekela. 
it has average quality light pattern showing in the whole blade. the blade is in original condition with pitting & patina probably a good quality  fighting blade dating from the 19th-20th century.  it has single sharp edge & false edge blade, it have  decorative reinforcement  on blade spine, and little bit rust can been seen on blade.

it has silver damascened mughal floral calligraphy design hilt. hilt back side has slightly bend ling spike and flower design. it has also knuckle guard for finger safety.  
  
scabbard made from wood and green velvet sheath handle also same color. it's added later.    

A very good piece for beginner's collection.
