Product:
- A set (x2) 3D printed replacement Pod Bubble Turrets for the Republic Gunship (LAAT). The pods feature a 7-color, multi-material print, a custom sticker, and articulated arms with stainless-steel joints.
- The actual gunship and any action figures are not for sale.
Material & Color:
- The windows of the bubble are made from shatter-resistant acrylic.
- The main housing of the pod is a multi-material (not painted) PLA print. The seat is also a multi-material PLA print.
- For increased durability, the arms and mounting plate are PETG. The two flexible joints on each arm use stainless steel rods.
- The control panel is a pre-cut, pre-applied sticker.
Surface & Finishing:
- The parts come with minimal layer lines, but small support marks and a seam on the back mean sanding is recommended for a perfectly smooth finish.
- Important:
- Sanding might affect the color uniformity, so a touch-up with paint could be necessary.
- Excessive sanding may reveal internal voids, as these parts are not completely solid.
- Avoid sanding the catch that inserts into the ship, as this could loosen the part.
- Small scratches can be repaired by lightly heating the material with a flame or heat gun.
Assembly (Opening the Pod):
- Remove the gray blaster dish from the front of the POD. Pull out.
- Remove the top housing.
- Pinch softly on the top acrylic dome to remove it.

- I’m located at the end of the postal route, so your package may show as processed a day or two after the pickup is completed.
