The Simplex 4906-9131 is a weatherproof TrueAlert multi-candela horn strobe in a red enclosure. It combines audible and visible fire alarm notification in a single device rated for outdoor and wet or damp locations. As a result, the 4906-9131 fits parking garages, loading docks, building exteriors, and other harsh environments.

The 4906-9131 uses a SmartSync-compatible two-wire 24 VDC notification appliance circuit. In addition, the strobe output is field-selectable at 15, 30, 75, or 110 candela. Therefore, one part number covers a wide range of coverage requirements without stocking multiple SKUs.
