A crankshaft holding tool for Ford engines, used to stop the crankshaft moving when releasing or tightening crankshaft pulley fasteners. It is made for specific Mondeo and Transit Duratorq diesel applications as well as 2.3 Duratec HE petrol engines, giving secure access during timing and pulley work.

Used when carrying out engine servicing, pulley removal and refitting, or other repair jobs where the crankshaft needs to be held steady. Suitable for garage work, workshop use and more involved home maintenance on Ford vehicles, especially where access to pulley bolts is awkward and controlled holding is needed while loosening or tightening fasteners.

The head profile is shaped to allow access to each pulley bolt with a deep socket, which helps when working in tighter engine bay spaces. It fits Ford Mondeo and Transit 2.0, 2.2, 2.4 and 3.2 litre Duratorq Di, TDDi and TDCi diesel engines, along with 2.3 Duratec HE petrol engines. OEM reference 303-1310 is provided for fitment checking. Please note that a deep socket is required for use but is not supplied.
