    No. This portable countertop nugget ice maker does not require a water line. It has a built-in 1.1 L (1.2 qt) water tank for everyday use. Just add water, plug it in, and enjoy fresh nugget ice in the kitchen, office, RV, or other countertop spaces.

  • Why does the ice melt in the basket? Is that normal?

    Yes. It makes fresh nugget ice, not long-term freezer storage. The basket holds 2 lb. Some melting is normal, and water recirculates to make fresh ice again. If you freeze extra for later, spread it in a single layer to help minimize clumping.

  • Is it easy to clean? Does it have a self-cleaning function?

    Yes. It includes a self-cleaning function for easier upkeep. For best results, we recommend a quick clean weekly and a deeper clean about once a month, depending on usage and water conditions. Harder water or frequent use may require more cleaning.
