This part is a valve, evaporative emission canister purge solenoid, for Chevrolet, and Pontiac cars. It fits for Chevrolet Camaro, Celebrity, and Berlinetta, Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, 6000, and Firebird for the U.S.. It's a genuine General Motors part with an OEM part number 17082416. Please keep in mind that this valve is discontinued for the U.S. market since March 1, 1997.
