Dating to the Art Deco Period

We are pleased to offer this very Rare Novelty Glass Tyre Decanter. The decanter of oval shape with a central hole formed in glass. NOTE; without a glass stopper. The decanter modelled as a tyre used as an adverting piece.

The decanter is engraved ‘When Tyred, Scotch” a play on the word Tyre. The decanter is a rare surviving piece of Novelty Advertising memorabilia perfect for any automotive collector looking for something rare and unusual. The Decanter dates to the first half of the 20th century during the Art Deco period circa 1930.

The decanter is in very nice condition with just one tiny nibble to rim and a little staining to inside.
