Vintage Mid-1960s LEVIS “BIG E” Stamped “6” Denim Jeans

 

“BIG E” VINTAGE MID-1960s LEVIS DENIM JEANS DOUBLE-SIDED RED TAG WITH STAMPED NUMBER “6” ON THE BACK OF THE TOP BUTTON 

These vintage Levis “Big E” denim jeans, with the double-sided red tag, have the stamped underlined single number “6” on the back of the top button. 

The measurements of the jeans, as shown laid flat, are as follows: 

Waist - across the top of the waistband: 16 inches (40.6 cm)

Rise - top of the waistband to the crotch seam: 11 inches ( 27.9 cm)

Inseam - the crotch seam to the bottom hem: 31 inches (78.7 cm)

Leg opening - across the bottom hem: 8 inches (20.3 cm)

Length - top of the waistband to the bottom hem: 42 inches (106.7 cm) 

PLEASE NOTE CONDITION: The Levis brand patch is worn and so faded that the “Two-Horse” trademark and brand text are no longer visible. There are no stains, rips or tears, but there is one small hole in the denim below the left front pocket. The front right pant leg has a thin ink pen line scribble mark below the pocket and a faded surface spot below the knee. There is also evidence of very faint surface wear at the knees, otherwise the jeans are in very good vintage condition, clean with clean interior pockets, from a smoke free home.
