Original etching by Edward J. Cherry, depicting a detailed river scene with sailing boats and the Tower of London in the background. This atmospheric London view is a fine example of Cherry’s architectural and nautical work.

The etching is pencil-signed by the artist in the lower margin and appears to be an original intaglio print, not a reproduction. The plate mark is clearly visible, and the print is presented in a simple vintage black frame with a cream mount.

Cherry (1886–1960) was a British-born printmaker known for his delicate cityscapes and etchings of historic landmarks. He exhibited in the UK and Canada during the early 20th century and became a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

The frame shows some age-related wear, and there are a few spots on the mount, but overall the piece presents well.
