Overall comment: A vintage Longines ‘5 star’ Admiral automatic men’s watch in overall fair cosmetic condition and keeping good time from my observations. The movement is a Longines automatic calibre 6651. The Longines reference number for this watch is 3007-1. The watch comes on a new generic embossed blue calf leather strap.

Age: I believe the watch dates to the 1970s.

Dial and hands: Blue sunburst dial in overall fair condition with some loss to the blue, which I have found relatively common among vintage blue dials from around this era. Stick hands in overall very good condition.

Case: Stainless steel ‘unishell’ design in good unpolished condition with some marks and wear. Measures approximately 34mm wide, not including the crown, 35mm from lug to lug and 19mm between the lugs.

Crown: Signed Longines crown in very good cosmetic condition.

Crystal: Acrylic crystal, which I believe is original to the watch. Polished by hand with only some marks remaining.

Movement: Longines calibre 6651 automatic movement keeping good time from my observations. The setting of the time, the manual winding function and the automatic winding function work. The date changes at about midnight. The date can be set relatively quickly by cycling the time between about 9pm and 1am.

Strap and buckle: A new generic embossed blue calf leather strap with a new generic stainless steel buckle. The strap, when installed on the watch, fits a wrist size of approximately between 15.5cm and 20.5cm.
