Silk is a delicate fabric and can pull on sharp edges, rough skin and jagged nails (so be careful).

Ideally you should wear with a classic suit/jacket with a normal width collar/lapel. Do not wear it with a skinny lapel jacket as a wide classic tie worn with a skinny collar/lapel will look odd.

You could wear this with a black, charcoal or white shirt. This is the only time when you could wear darker coloured shirts with a dark tie. 

Hugo boss ties sell for £80/£120 nowadays and this although a bit old it looks brand new (as you can see) and it is a snip especially as we will pay the (tracked) postage.
