Here we have an early 1900s James Watson & Co Ltd, Watson’s Dundee Whiskey, ¼ gallon ceramic stoneware jug. It has the black transfer pictorial to the front of a kilted gentleman participating in the Highland games stone put. It has the cream lower section and brown colour to the top. The handle is set to the rear which the spout to the top. There is a stopper set within the top. The base is marked ‘Buchan Portobello Edinburgh’.

Condition:

Slight lifted area to front centre, next to Dundee text.

Slight chip to inside of spout.

Chip to rear of spout. 

Colour even and transfer good.

The stopper with wear to edges and cracking.
