The item for auction is a Zippo Camel Black Matte Double Sided Zip Guard Lighter with Zippo Tin 1996 Model is an advertisement memorabilia item.  The Lighter case is constructed from brass and overlayed with a Black matte paint. The Camel® image is embossed onto the lighter front and the rear of the lighter.  The Zip Guard design covers the front and rear of the lighter also.

A Zip Guard® on the Zippo Lighter is a specialized, textured polymer coating applied to the body and lid of a brushed chrome, windproof lighter. It acts as a secure, studded rubber grip, increasing durability and making the lighter easier to hold.

The Lighter is stamped K XII on the bottom of the lighter dating it as November 1996. Due to the thickness of the matte paint the month letter is a bit challenging to discern.

This Zippo Lighter is unused.  It has never been struck.  The classic Zippo Red Warning label is in the lid of the  2 piece Zippo factory tin.  The Zippo guarantee is under the lighter.  The original Zippo factory tin and paper sleeve are included in the set.
