This Cartier Must de Vermeil Tank from the 1980s is presented in fabulous condition, no fault seen in the dial, untouched and beautifully lacquer “turtleshell” pattern.
Minimally adorned, the dial features gold-toned sword-shaped hands, the double C signature, and gold printed “must de Cartier” and “Swiss,” letting the rich lacquer take center stage.
The vermeil (gold-plated silver) remains well-preserved, marginally patina to be seen. Powered by a manual wind movement, it is fitted with a brown suede strap, the color matches the deeper color of the dial, and Cartier plated buckle. An effortlessly charming piece, full of warmth and character, and an easy companion for many years to come.
