Donald Ingermann authors his book on basically how to oil lanes using the Century Lane Equipment regardless of what brand (AMF/Brunswick/DBA/etc) oil or lacquer you were using back in the day.

This is a non bias - so basically if you use AMF lacquer, here's what you need to know with the Century machine and how to apply it.  He covers everyone selling lacquer at the 1973 time period, and this book was sent out to everyone that owned the Century Oiling Lane Machine.

Cool book - good read especially if you are still in the business.
