Clean Unit - Needs Servicing, won't hold speed


The Mitsubishi DP-5 is a fully automatic direct drive turntable from the 1980s featuring a DC servo motor and a 324mm aluminum diecast platter.  It supports playback speeds of 33 and 45rpm with a wow and flutter specification of 0.03% wrms and a signal-to-noise ratio of 70dB. 

The unit utilizes an S-shaped static balance tonearm with an effective length of 227mm, overhang of 14mm, and an offset angle of 22 degrees, accommodating cartridge weights between 4.5 and 10g.  Physically, the turntable measures 454 x 144 x 378mm and weighs 8kg.
