I do my best to accurately describe items listed for sale.
Any chips, cracks, tears, stains or other noticeable damage will be listed in
the description. If no damage or defects are listed above, it is because I
didn't see any and the item is in very good condition. Please
look carefully at the photos and or video, as they are part of the description! Many
of the items I list are from estate, household, and yard sales and are priced
low accordingly, but occasionally a flaw or defect may be overlooked, or damage
may occur during shipping. Some items may not have been tested to make sure
they work properly. I try to note that in the description. Feel free to ask for
more information prior to bidding, offering or buying and I will answer to the
best of my ability.

The shipping cost is shown in the shipping section of the
listing. This is the shipping cost you are asked to pay. All prices are
based on ACTUAL USPS rates and do
not include a handling charge. Sometimes, depending on your location, Priority
Mail is feasible at the amount paid, in which case your item will be shipped
that way. If you feel the shipping charge is too high, contact me prior to
bidding, and I may be able to make an adjustment. If you would like
your item shipped by another method (UPS, FedEx, etc.), contact me and I will
try to accommodate your request. We are happy to combine items to reduce
shipping when it doesn't compromise the safety of the items being shipped.

Handling:
Each item is carefully packaged to ensure safe arrival
at its destination. With the cost of boxes, bubble wrap, peanuts, tape,
etc., I often spend more on shipping/handling than the buyer is
charged. I usually ship within two business days of the close of
auction. I will try to notify you if it runs later than that for any
reason.

Grading
follows TCA (Toy Train Collectors Association) standards as listed below:
C-9 Factory
New -Brand New: all original: unused, may have evidence of factory rub and the
slightest evidence of handling, shipping and having been test run at factory
C-8 Like
New-Complete all original: no rust, no missing parts may show effects being on
display and/or age, may been run
C-7
Excellent-all original: minute scratches and paint nicks, no rust and no
missing parts, no distortion of component parts
C-6 Very
Good-Minor scratches and paint nicks, minor spots of surface rust, free of
dents. May have minor parts replaced.
C-5
Good-Sign of play wear: scratches and minor paint loss. Small dents, minor
surface rust. Evidence of heavy use.
C-4 Fair:
Scratched, moderate paint loss, dented missing parts, surface rust. Evidence of
heavy use.
C-3
Poor-Requires major repair: Heavily scratched, major rust and missing parts.
Restoration candidate.
C-2
Restoration required, not running C-1
Junk-parts value only.
