Description: A Cold War, eschatological pamphlet from an obscure Portuguese far right, ultra Catholic organization called the Cruzada Cristã Internacional (International Christian Crusade), in which the author argues that the Biblical "harlot" is the U.N., a Satanic organization spreading Communism and supported by its "lover," the U.S., which is referred to as the "New Babylon." The CCI was led by a senile crank named Carlos de Oliveira, who was a one-time Communist before being arrested in 1945. Under the name General Protero, Oliveira churned out pamphlets, which were allegedly underwritten by the Salazar regiem.
