Authentic ILM VFX crew fleece jacket issued for Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999).
This jacket was produced for Industrial Light & Magic crew members involved in the film’s visual effects work and was not available for retail sale.
Constructed from navy blue polyester fleece and featuring embroidered “Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace — ILM VFX Crew” chest insignia, mesh interior lining, full zip front, and ribbed hem and cuffs.
Manufactured on a WearGuard fleece blank, a period-correct brand commonly used for studio crew apparel during the late 1990s.
Crew fleece variants are less commonly encountered than windbreakers and other ILM crew outerwear, making this a desirable piece for collectors of Star Wars production memorabilia and ILM history.
Size Large with relaxed vintage fit.
A strong example of late-1990s Star Wars production crew apparel and a great addition to any ILM or film memorabilia collection.
Color note: Due to the nature of fleece fabric, the shade of navy may appear lighter or darker depending on lighting, viewing angle, and nap direction. Please refer to all photos for the most accurate representation of color.
