This lovely paper mache box is hand painted with chalk paint in a light blue (by Waverly called pool blue). Light brown is brushed over the blue in places to give an aged look.  A vintage rabbit image is applied to the front using decoupage. The lid is placed on the bottom but not attached. The inside is filled with packing paper and then covered with coffee dyed muslin fabric.  Spanish moss is added along with faux greenery. The look is completed with 2 speckled eggs nestled atop. Everything is attached in the top. Box is intended to remain open with lid on bottom.
