Unfortunately, the word "vintage" is often used by Sellers on eBay when the item they are selling simply isn't forty(40) years old or more to qualify. So yes, this Magazine is genuinely vintage by virtue of the 1982 issue date. 

Please don't be deterred by the Year of Publication. The articles inside are as applicable today as they ever were, particularly in regards to the tactics in catching. Species of Fish haven't changed !
