Over time, the adhesive fails, the leather peels, and you're back to a worse-looking part than you started with.

The surface is precision-textured during manufacturing to replicate the visual depth and tactile grain of leather — with no glue, no overlay, and nothing to peel. A light metallic UV-resistant coating is then applied, giving the cover a subtle, premium sheen that catches light the way factory leather does — without any of its long-term failure modes.
