the JNR series 32 passenger wagon group was a variety of JNR steel sided passenger wagons - the first steel sided group - constructed starting in 1929.....the full panoply of JNR in house manufacturing and loyal manufacturers constructed a variety of passenger car car configurations all measuring 20 meters in length - JNR 's new passenger wagon length standard .......the suhafu32 specifically was a 3rd class carriage with braking capabilities, the latter located in conductor's room at the trailing end of the wagon.......311 cars were constructed; the series 32 group served into the 1860s.......
i acquired this model as 1 of a 13 piece lot of passenger wagons from a small reseller of disparate items in japan expecting, because of various "tells", the thirteen would arrive in unused condition - brick and mortar store unsold inventory.....my intuition was validated......
this model has no accessories......
the model has functioning tail lights at the conductor's end only......
one caveat: the jewel case packaging has a 3/4" crack in the bottom half......neither the security of the packaging nor aesthetic viewing of the model is compromised......
