1860’s John C Fremont lithograph print cdv. Unknown publisher. Fremont was a candidate in the 156 US Presidential election as a Republican. He served as the military governor of California before statehood. He was also the governor of the Arizona Territory around the time of Billy the Kid. Fremont is wearing a Union Civil War General’s uniform on this cdv. He was in command of the Department of the West during the war. Cdv is about 2 by 4 inch. Stains, toning and wear.
