Supermarine Spitfire Memorial Coin and Genuine Aircraft Piece Limited Edition with Certificates
This great collectors item is a 2016 (80 year anniversary medal/coin) to celebrate the production of the Supermarine Spitfire aircraft in 1936. The coin is solid bronze layered in pure silver and is 'Proof' condition.
It measures 36mm, weighs 22.28g and is a limited edition to 5000 pieces.
The coin is retained in a protective case alongside a genuine, certified piece of an actual Spitfire (Spirit of Kent) sourced from the Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar. The whole set is provided in a nice black presentation box with 2 original certificates, one for the coin and one for the aircraft piece.
