Excellent appearance, and the zoom and AF work great.  Oil on the aperture blades is preventing the lens stopping down.  There is also some haze present.  

The sample snapshots include frames from a Pentax camera, where I could only shoot wide open, due to the oil.  The better snaps were taken on a mirrorless camera where I could mount the lens after setting an aperture and then closing it down by hand using the aperture control lever on the back of the lens.  (If you move the aperture ring after mounting the lens, you'll have to dismount it and reset it manually again.)
