This ring is from a family estate and

was purchased in the 1970s from 

the Design Wise store in Cob Hill,

Brooklyn and "Marler" was one of

the owners of the business. Size 6

This ring features a bloodstone cabochon 

set on a sterling silver platform. The stone is

a round dark green jasper interspersed with 

red iron oxide inclusions. Bloodstone is a 

variety of chalcedony quartz traditionally 

associated with healing properties, 

grounding energy, and protection. 

Bloodstone is an alternative stone

for March since the red can represent

the blood of Christ. This
