Side Bearing Adjustment Shim SET compatible with Datsun/Nissan/Infinity R200 Differentials

Unlike other sellers who offer just one shim in a single thickness, forcing you to buy multiple shims to get the right fit, this complete shim kit includes a full range of thicknesses. Save time, money, and hassle with this all-in-one solution for a precise carrier or LSD adjustment.

This multiple piece set allows an installer to accurately set preload, backlash, and pattern with an infinite number of shim thickness combinations. These can also be used with the original Nissan factory OEM (original equipment manufacturer) differential shims. 

These shims are located next to the large LSD/Open diff side bearing races (see highlighted parts in diagram), not to be confused with internal LSD components, thrust washers, or pinion shims.

The last photo shows an adjustment shim from this set compared against an OEM factory side bearing race.

Highly recommended for use on both used/new Open carrier and LSD "Limited Slip Differential" swaps (OBX, MFactory, Kaaz, Quaife, Cusco, Tomei, OS Giken, Wavetrac, etc) where the oem adjusting shims alone can not obtain factory specification range for preload, backlash, and pattern due to manufacturing tolerance issues OR wear of the ring and pinion matched set.
