This is a vintage Hamilton Steeldon mans wristwatch that runs great and has a very rare ORIGINAL black dial.
It runs strong and keeps time within a minute a day.
It was dis-assembled, ultrasonically cleaned, re-assembled and oiled.
It did not get a new mainspring, it did not need one. 
748 movement USA made with 18 jewels.
Very good original dial with some small marks.
Made in 1948.
Steel case with small nicks on front and back.
Good plastic crystal.
Good correct CLD crown.
Original black dials are rare for this watch.
