RS422 Serial to WiFi Modem for Apple Macintosh Mac 128K 512K 512Ke -Built
This is the pre-assembled version shown in photo 1.
Runs at up to 9600 baud. Connect to BBS's or a Raspberry Pi on your network via telnet,
and then out to the internet. When used with a Pi you can SSH anywhere.
Board gets its power from the USB port on the Wemos D1 Mini.
This design uses common parts:
Wemos D1 Mini ESP8266 board
5v to 3.3v level shifter board
HLF MAX232N chip
5x 1uf 50V capacitors
16 pin DIP IC socket
9 way D male plug
Each board is tested with our own Mac 512K before despatch.
Comes with a bootable 400k 3.5" floppy with Mac Terminal on it.
I've also now tested this on a Mac 128K running from a FloppyEmu Mac Terminal disk image - see photos.
Comes with a single page instruction sheet. Board is driven by AT style Hayes modem commands.
