The Mizuno MP TYPE‑2 Driver Head is a 460 cc driver released in 2017 from Mizuno’s MP series. It features a New Coretec forged face using aerospace‑grade materials, combined with Mizuno’s Wave Technology sole to amplify face deformation (about 10% more than a flat sole), producing a high initial ball speed area and forgiveness. The head includes Mizuno’s Quick Switch adapter allowing lofts from 7.5° to 11.5° and is built to offer strong launch and straight‑ball flight for players who want more forgiveness without sacrificing control.
