the JNR series 35 passenger wagon group was a variety of JNR steel sided passenger cars produced in the years surrounding the wwll period.......the design commenced production in the late 1930s as an improved version of the suha 32 series.....production halted during the war (1943) and resumed in 1946 .......the suhani32 specifically was a combination third class carriage/baggage car featuring a conductor's space at one end accessing the braking device.......65 wagons were constructed by nippon sharyo between 1939 and 1941.......
i acquired this model as 1 of a 13 piece lot of passenger wagons from a small reseller of disparate items in japan expecting, because of various "tells", the thirteen would arrive in unused condition - brick and mortar store unsold inventory.....my intuition was validated......
this model has no accessories......
the model has functioning tail lights at the conductor's end only......
